July 1, 2010 NEWS FLASH Ventos is proud to announce that James Robertson has won the 2nd horn position with the Winnipeg Symphony. James will be truly missed! Ventos is thrilled to announce that Heather Walker will be our new hornist. Heather comes to Ventos with a passion for the quintet repertoire and a wealth of experience in her years performing in the Vancouver Opera Orchestra, Vancouver Island Symphony and as a freelancer throughout British Columbia. We're thrilled to have her join us!

May 1, 2010 Ventos is excited to announce that James Robertson and Olivia Martin have joined Ventos as our new hornist and bassoonist. We know they will be a great addition to Ventos and look forward to working with them on our future concert, recording and commissioning projects.

Ventos would also like to thank Steve Ho and Isaac Bull for their contribution to Ventos over the last couple of years. Isaac and Steve will continue on as associate members of Ventos and will continue to be part of the Ventos family.

MIDWEEK MUSIC AT ST. ANSELM'S
St. Anselm's is pleased to announce the Midweek Music, a new classical chamber music series at St. Anselm's Anglican Church featuring the talents of musicians from the community and beyond.

Repertoire for this concert will include:

Arturo Márquez: Danza del Mediodia
